I am on vacation. I have not taken much time off this year. This is a time for me to relax. I don’t plan on doing any coding. That means I’ll not be writing any technical tutorials. I’m taking a break. I am doing new things that I’d like to write about.
I am unsure when I’ll be able to write during my holiday. I do not plan to stay attached to technology. This is my time off. I set an alarm for this morning but after that I stayed away from tech for a few hours. I read a book. I am presently reading Kill Process, which comes recommended from a member of the IndieWeb community.
I woke up this morning and all of the regular order I usually have lost its meaning. I did not keep track of the time. I do not have a clock in my room. I immersed myself in reading Kill Process. I do not usually read fiction. The reason I picked up this book on Amazon is that it has mentions of the IndieWeb. I am impressed so far.
I’ve taken this morning slow. I am writing because everyone is getting ready for the day. It’s raining outside. It feels like the perfect time for a coffee. I am going to save my coffee consumption for when I am out. I cannot drink any more than two cups of coffee per day. This holiday may be the time where I push myself to three cups. There are so many new places to try.
This entry has become somewhat of a journal post. This is what I expect a lot of old-school blogs to have done when they were first started. They were called web journals. I think that’s how LiveJournal got its name. I am taking this morning slow. I’ll publish this blog post and then I don’t have any other reasons to check my computer. The birds are signing outside.
