A photo from last weekend
Published on under the Coffee category.

I was in Edinburgh last weekend for the first time in many months. It was nice to break out of my usual routine and do something different. I visited many coffee shops and two museums. If you are ever in Edinburgh, I would recommend visiting both the National Museums of Scotland and the National Gallery. If you happen to be reading this shortly before travelling, check out the Typewriter Exhibit at the National Museum. I saw not only a Lego typewriter in person (yes, Lego, and it works!) but many other interesting typewriters from history. Anyway, I digress.
I wanted to share a photo from last weekend that I took early in the morning. It was not my best photograph but it stuck out to me. Pictured above is the Dynamic Earth planetarium building. It had started raining a few minutes prior to my arriving at the building. The sun had just started to come out but raindrops were still falling. I didn't see a rainbow that day although the weather created prime conditions for the formation of a rainbow.
In the background is Arthur's Seat, a popular destination for tourists. I have not walked all the way up but I would love to one day. In the foreground is Dynamic Earth. The sun is shining, some raindrops are visible, and the light reflects well from the cobbled pavement. Peeking through on the right of the photo, I see blue sky.o I only just noticed this when looking at the picture. I am mesmerised.
To all of those reading this post on the day on which it was published, have a good weekend!
