While I have no analytics set up to track page views on this site, I do have Google Search Console enabled so that I can measure the general health of my website (i.e. 404 pages). I don't use Search Console often on my personal website, but I recently checked the dashboard and found that a lot of people have come to my site with the query "james hoffmann chemex recipe" (or related terms).
I searched for "james hoffmann chemex recipe" on Google and a post of mine appears in the #1 position. Ironically, the post is not James Hoffmann's recipe. I wrote the post after exploring a lot with the Chemex, although I do mention Hoffmann's water-to-coffee ratio in the post. This is featured in the snippet Google gives when you search for the aforementioned term:

I hope my Chemex recipe and musings have been useful to the people who entered my site from that query. I am curious that my site ranks above Hoffmann's own video on the Chemex.
More in search fun. My site ranks in positions:
- 6 for "hypertext coffee pot".
- 8 for "seasonal emoji".
- 1 for "james coffee blog".
Please note that search results do change over time. I am not sure how long these results will last.
