It is Friday evening. From the window, I can see a pale lavender colour in the sky. Ever since hearing the song Lavender Haze by Taylor Swift, I have both had the song at the top of my head on many days and become more attuned to the lavender colours in the sky. An intriguing combination!
Alas, I found myself wondering: what could I write this evening? I plan to watch Frasier later this evening, but I wanted to jot down something before doing so. Then I thought "what about doing another edition of Fun with Words?" I have a few words to share!
- Obviate: Remove the need to do something (make unnecessary).
- Rankles: Causes annoyance.
- Errata: A list of errors.
- Grok: Understand.
The word "rankles" has a strange allure. I don't know too many other words that end in "kles". Ankles being one. No other words that meet this description are presently coming to mind.
As I conclude the blog post, the pale lavender colour in the sky is changing. A gradient is present: from a colour I can't quite describe to a darkening blue in the top of the sky. With that, I conclude today's edition of Fun with Words. Have an excellent weekend!
