This post was written on Saturday, April 15th and published today, April 17th.
On an early train ride this morning, with my eyes heavy as I was still to fully wake up, I rode through fog. The fog enveloped the landscape, easing as I got closer to my destination.
On my journey, there was a moment where the fog fully occluded the sun, leaving rays of sunlight to pass through the dense fog. The fog was illuminated with a soft yellow. On the other side of the landscape, where there was little fog, the suns rays projected into the grass, bringing my attention to the luscious green fields.
In the moment where the sun was occluded by the fog, I felt a little moment of joy. I love how you can make the same journey many times and have continue to have unique, memorable experiences.
I cannot recall much else of the journey, for as aforementioned I was tired. An hour prior, I had been in slumber. What a beautiful morning it has been. Spring is here.
