Earlier today, I wrote about how I found joy in the sun radiating into a cafe I was in. Although I did not expect much sunshine today -- there were many dark-ish grey clouds in the sky -- the sun came out fully. I love the sun; the warmth, the vibrant colours as the sun hits my surroundings.
With that said, I found myself in a position I have been in a few times so far this year: in need of my sunglasses. The trouble is that I often forget to bring them where I am going. The thought never crosses my mind. It is only when the sun comes out that I say to myself "oh, my sunglasses would be useful!"
Here is a note to myself, and anyone else who also doesn't think about sunglasses often: practice the habit of asking whether you should bring your sunglasses when you go outside. I need to do this.
Oh, and wear sunscreen.
