James Coffee Blog Show

With the taste of a packaged okonomiyaki in my mouth, I am excited to announce I am starting a podcast. [^1]
My plan is to talk about moments of joy, writing, personal websites, and all else that comes to mind. In the opening episode, I share some observations about Bluesky and Mastodon, share a recent moment of joy featuring a cab driver, and more. The podcast is likely going to be a monologue, although I would love to answer reader or listener questions.
As I note in the opening section of the show, I am interested in how a monologue could help me think, just as writing helps me think and figure out how to articulate ideas. Recording the first episode was an educational exercise: in 2-3 takes (in the first ones I was really finding my feet), then I think I got into a good groove. Whether that is true, however, is a question for listeners.
I was inspired to start this show by the Rubenerd Show, featuring Ruben Schade, and Frasier, one of my favourite television programmes. I am excited to record more episodes! If you have a question you would like me to answer on the show, send me an email.
An RSS feed of the show is available. The first episode is available via Spotify.
[^1]: The okonomiyaki was not pertinent to the sentence, but is notable nonetheless! I purchased a single subscription box with various Japanese snacks in it, and this evening I have been going through a few. I had a crisp whose taste resembled Monster Munch (a crisp available in the UK), a melon cookie whose taste was most certainly melon (and whose colour had a green tint), and the okonomiyaki. This is a long footnote. I digress.
