This is a blog post in which I had to double check the spelling of a word in the title before starting to write. For some reason I needed assurance that I had spelled "smiley" correctly. "smiley" is an interesting word! An "ey" suffix!
I am presently listening to champagne problems by Taylor Swift, one of my favourite songs on the evermore album. It is one of many songs that I want to sing aloud when I hear it, particularly the last 1:30, which is the part to which I am listening now.
I am sitting in an airport. I was previously sitting on the floor, but then I ventured and found a Starbucks. I spent some time writing tests for VisionScript, my programming language, and realized that writing tests while being tired is probably not the way I want to spend my morning. I turned to writing, which has been more manageable.
As is customary in Starbucks, I was asked for my name by the barista, who wrote my name on the cup in which my drink was to be made. My name had a smiley face to the right. This brought on a moment of joy. The feeling when someone takes an additional moment in their day to do something delightful.
gold rush plays in the background.
I have finished my coffee and feel ready for the day ahead. Happy Saturday!
