About James' Coffee Blog

Hello. I'm James. I've been drinking speciality coffee since the middle of the lockdown in the UK and I have fallen in love with it. I love reading and writing about coffee as well as, of course, drinking it.

My goal for this blog is to share what I am learning about coffee. I like to do this by talking about my own experiences. You may find me writing about coffee theory every now and again. Those posts help me remember what I am learning.

I try to review every coffee I drink. In these reviews, I talk about the roaster, what I taste, and other pieces of information relevant to the bean. I use an Aeropress and you can expect me to talk a bit about how I use it.

When I brew a cup of coffee, I feel like I've been able to create something beautiful. Every sip makes me appreciate the effort I've put into a cup. And, of course, I cannot forget the role of everyone who helped make that coffee: from the farmer to the producer to the roaster.

I try to post daily but I only want to post if I've got something to say.
