Great question! I have not thought about TicketAuth or bearer token support just yet. I think my first step should be to get the spec working with my IndieAuth endpoint and to try it out. I read the spec a while ago but didn't build anything.

Out of curiosity, have you put any thought into adding TicketAuth/bearer token support so that folks can get private subscription content as well? There’s a bunch of security aspects to consider with that but it’s a thing I’d love to see come into a reader.There’s also a few UX things implied by microsub which I’m not a fan of, personally, and when I get around to finally building Subl (which I’ve only been talking about ...

I do like the idea of having private feeds. I might add a private feed if I build my digital garden, for instance. Have you implemented TicketAuth?

Microsub is a bit restricted in terms of the data you should send to be compliant with the standard but there seems to be a lot of proposals for extensions. If you build something that's not in the spec and has broader applicability, it could become part of the spec!
