Does that make the code better?
I think so.
I refactored my Micropub client this morning and I now feel a lot better about my client.
I was stressed about my codebase and that was in large part due to how many bugs there were. But after identifying patterns in my code and simplifying the codebase – and breaking it down into different modules that I then imported into the relevant files – I felt a lot more comfortable. And my code works a lot better because I understand it better and as a result I could more easily fix bugs.
More readable code is:
- Easier for me to read.
- Probably easier for others to read.
